there's not a lot of places to go and get a toddler nice and dirty. he's good at finding puddles and what not. but if you want to take him somewhere to climb in a stream, you have quite a long drive ahead of you.
today we are going to a pond in queens that is pretty dirty. we have to drive a short distance to get there. it's not really something he can walk around IN, but he can poke it with a stick and explore some trails.
there's days like today when i just want to live in the mountains or something. raise my little guy to be a wild boar. the city is special, but wow do i miss nature. nature is super duper special.
